Dear Loyal Readers, and Occasional Readers, and those of you who ended up here accidentally and computers locked-up before they could click away:
As some of you may have noticed, there have been more sponsored posts and giveaways on Hi Sugarplum lately. And I know, as a blog reader myself, that they aren't always looked upon favorably. But as this blog grows, more opportunities are being offered. Which is a total Catch 22, I know!

I want you to know that I weigh each opportunity very carefully, and only accept those for products I believe in, and the discounts and giveaways I find truly desirable. All of my reviews are honest and the opinions my own, regardless if there's a paycheck attached to it. These posts will most often run on Saturdays, so they won't interfere with my regular posts. My goal is to stay true to myself, this blog, and the reasons I started Hi Sugarplum. I promise not to become an obnoxious pimp. I can't promise not to be obnoxious.

Please bear with me as I tread through these new (and exciting!) waters. And remember, the extra dough (Even if it is paltry, I mean, I'm not quitting my day job here!) only means more projects and makeovers I can show here! Win-Win, right?!
Your DIY Slave,
Cassie Sugarplum

And speaking of winning, you can find the winner of the 31 Gifts Shop Credit here, and the winner of the fabulous Foo Dogs from Live Like You here! Winners shoot me an email to collect your loot! Thanks and Congrats!

And since it goes against my bloggy mantra, I have to show at least one pic in this post. So I leave you with my favorite Pinterest image this week. If a baby giraffe doesn't melt your cold heart and prepare you for the weekend, then you have no hope! Happy Weekend, lovebugs!

Sponsored posts don't bother me at all and if it gives you a little extra cash then bring em on!
ReplyDeleteI just want to give that baby giraffe a smooch! (BTW: giraffe was totally a spelling word for my 1st grader this week.)

It is so difficult to strike a balance between all that stuff! Don't worry, I'll only refer to you as OP (obnoxious pimp) lovingly (c:
ReplyDeleteI find it's easy to read around contests and offers on blogs if I'm not interested in them, so I for one am not offended at all by them. Heck, most of us hope to be that popular one day. Go for it, Cassie!
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for that poster today. Sarcasm is my second (and very often misunderstood) language.
Have a great day!
