Decorators say to look in your closet for an indication of your home decor style. So it's no surprise that my closet is chock full of bright colors, especially during the Summer months
(so expect more Outfit Inspiration posts). I may be land-locked, but I'm always drawn to cool, watery tones. The combination of greens and blues is like the perfect bowl of sea glass. And a touch of yellow gives it energy and a dose of unexpected.
In fairness to my
rockstar hairstylist friend, these pictures were taken before she worked her magic last week. The only person responsible for this black crack and dirty mess is me!
I love a statement necklace, and hopefully this one detracts from my disheveled hair. We usually take these pictures at the end of the day, so you know how that goes.
Are you a fan of blue and green? Do you dress more colorfully in the warmer months, too?
{Outfit Deets: Top - Old Navy; Skirt - J.Crew; Gray Peeptoes - Enzo Angiolini; Turquoise Bangle - Old Navy; Pearl Bracelet - J.Crew; Silver Statement Necklace - Forever 21; Yellow Bag - Aldo}
Oh, I love this look! It reminds me so much of the colors of the ocean and it's just perfect for summer. If you have a minute, I'd love for you to check out my post today on Waterfall Braids :)

And your hairstylist- why can't we blow out our own hair like that?! I had to chop mine a little b/c of that damn product I told you about.

I absolutely love yellow, but I am terrified of wearing it with my super pale skin. I love this Aldo bag for a little punch.Love the whole outfit and inspiration boards. Thanks for sharing!
