First of all, when did my hands morph into my mom's?! And secondly, have you ever tried to take a picture of your own hand, without it looking like a claw?! I think the camera really does add 10 pounds.
It's hard for me to pay for manicures when it gets wrecked every weekend, so I almost always do it myself....hence the
The top coat makes the glittered nail smooth to the touch. And the funny thing is, my weekend of sanding and painting completely ruined every nail except my glittered ones! Sure you can find glittered polish, but every good DIYer has glitter laying around already! Do you like to play with your manicures? Have your hands recently started looking just like your mothers?!

Love the idea of using regular glitter on your nails. I've only used the glitter polish before.
ReplyDeleteSome days I am shocked at how old and dry my hands look. What??? I'm only 29. *cough*

Yep, I have old lady hands. Not so much in person as in pictures.
ReplyDeleteI don't get manicures, and I am incapable of painting my own finger nails. I do pay for pedicures monthly. That's my one "me" splurge, other than getting my hair colored. But I don't consider that a splurge. That's just regular monthly maintenance.
So freaking cute! I'll have to try this asap.

Super cute. I have tried and cant stand my hands in all photos. It is such a weird thing!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I have been pinning tons of nail inspirations lately. How hard is the glitter to get off when you're ready for a new color? I know regular glitter polish is always a bear. Just wondered.
ReplyDeleteOk, this totally makes me laugh because just the other day I was sitting next to my mother, looking at our bare feet side by side. No!!!!! I'm starting to get her feet :( Frick, frick, frick...
ReplyDeleteLove the nails :)
Oh I need to repaint my nails so badly!
ReplyDeleteLove the glitter and the color!! Looking at my hands so makes me regret not slathering them with sunscreen growing up!!
ReplyDeleteI just feel bad for my own nails, they totally get used and abused...but hello fun glitter nails!!! I love the idea of making any color *glittery*. I'm on board.
ReplyDeleteYour nails look great! I did the glitter top coat on my ring fingers over bright pink polish one time I did shellac. I unexpectedly had to go out of town for work (and couldn't take it off) and the client kept commenting on my pink glitter nails! Thankfully, I don't think they were offended, but maybe not the most professional look!
ReplyDeleteI repinned this on Pinterest! Love it!
